1. Who can be a member of the VFW?

2. Can Spouses be members?

3. Where is the Post located?
   1. Our street address is
      1420 S. Waggoneer Road , Reynoldsburg, OH 43068
      (look for the tank).

4. Is there a uniform requirement and if so what would I need to purchase?
   1. No uniform requirement for regular membership,
   2. Color Guard wears BDU's for ceremonies
   3. You can get the VFW garrison cap, but it is optional. Please visit: http://www.vfwstore.org/
5. Is there a rank structure within the VFW? If so, how does it work?
   1. Rank Structure (top down):Post Commander, Senior Vice Commander, Junior Vice Commander, Quartermaster. Please visit the officers page.

6. I noticed that Post #9473 sponsors a Boy Scout Troop, Does the Post have direct involvement in the Troop.
   1. Boy Scout Troop 826 meets every Wednesday at 7pm. Drop by and talk with the Scout Master, Mike Johnson, about how to get involved. Use the side parking lot entrance.
7. A military family member has passed away. Can the Color Guard help with the funeral?
   1. Yes, please Contact Geoffry Ludwig of the Color guard to discuss details and arrangements
8. I am interested joining the Color Guard - who should I speak to about joining?
   1. Gary Pfaff is the color guard captain, Please visit the Color guard page, and contact him. He will be able to talk to you about the requirements for joining.
9. Are there monthly meetings and if so when are they?
   1. The Post members meeting is the second Tuesday of the month, 7:30pm. Please visit the Calendar page (its off site) to see all the other events, meetings and times.
10. What are the hours of operations?
    1. Monday - Friday: 11:00 AM 'til Close*
       Saturday and Sunday: 1:00 PM 'til Close*
       *..Always until 9, depending on participation.

12. If I have a problem at the Post, who do I contact?
    1. Please contact the Post Commander.
13. I am having problems with the VA Hospital
    1. Please contact our Service Officer and set up an appointment to talk to him about your VA related problems.
